My weight loss journey commenced in December 2015. My goal at this point wasn’t to necessarily lose weight because that was a hope long gone through many years of failed attempts and depression. But I desperately needed something to support digestion and that was my only goal. After a couple of months I realized that my clothes were looser and thought, “What would happen if I actually tried?” So with limiting carbs and portions, this was gradually effective, and slowly, slowly I was able to drop 35 pounds. This was remarkable because nothing had been able to budge this pudge. Fixing digestion was the answer and I thought that was going to be all.
Then I was introduced to the BulaFit program. It took much less time to drop the next 35 pounds, which is a testimony to me how great this program is! I love that I almost never feel hungry, and the shake is phenomenal. Mentally I’m more focused and energy abound. How can this be a diet? I’m 43 years old but I feel like the clock has been turned back 15 years I swear. There are so many things I can do now and love to do that I couldn’t before, like riding bikes, hike (I can even keep up with the kids!) and I found out climbing trees is fun. It’s fun now to try new things, where before I would worry about being able to or how it would look for someone to see me struggling. My feet used to hurt every morning as they hit the ground and it took a good 20 minutes for that to fade. That’s gone forever. I can run up the stairs two at a time without even being phased. I can get off the floor (that was hard before!), cross my legs (that’s a joke when you’re heavy), hug my knees and it’s comfortable. These are just a few things that you’d never think would add to the enjoyment of life.
When I started I never expected to see any of this. When I first got to shop for clothes NOT in the plus sizes–no words… And it’s fun to go clothes shopping. As of now, I’m 75 pounds lighter. I never thought this could happen to me. The hardest part was actually deciding to do it, because it takes a lot of courage to be willing to potentially face failure again when all hope is lost, and when you feel you’re at a place where there’s no way but down. A lot of courage. But you have to defy that and begin. I have been blessed beyond measure.
We encourage you to start today toward your OWN health and fat loss transformation!!
A HUGE Congratulations to BulaFIT Warrior Champion Joanie Wayman!!
